    warm welcome
    good breakfast
    super clean room
    unusual smell
    slightly detracting experience
    noisy environment

The warm welcome from the hosts, along with the super clean room and comfortable bedding. The breakfast was good, particularly with the option to enjoy it while watching the wildlife outside. We did notice an unusual smell in the room that persisted throughout our visit, which detracted slightly from the experience.

As for me location is great and stunning, just next door to Highlands, Fort Augustus, and the local restaurant. This hotel offers spacious and bright rooms with stunning view, own shower, for example. The staff is amiable and great, as well as host.

Don’t have any issues at all.

The breakfast was amazing, particularly the veggie haggis. The only downside was the noise from nearby guests at night.

    noise issue

The warm welcome from Lindsey and Manda made a fantastic first impression. The room was clean and spacious with a generous en suite bathroom, and the B&B's location offered amazing views of the surrounding gardens, where charming wildlife, including red squirrels, could be observed. Breakfast featured a great variety, including delicious cooked items, providing an excellent start to the day.

    good breakfast
    low shower pressure
    persistent odor

Good breakfast with locally sourced ingredients.

The shower pressure was disappointingly low. There was a faint but persistent odor in the room that detracted from the overall experience, even after airing it out. Lastly, the thin walls made it difficult to sleep due to noise from other guests.

    warm welcome
    delicious breakfast
    beautiful garden
    faint odor
    low pressure

Warm welcome from Lindsey and Amanda. The curated breakfast selection impressed me, especially the veggie haggis. The room was superb with comfy beds, a tv, and fresh fruit and a wee dram of whisky. I did notice an unusual smell in the room that persisted throughout my stay, a bit distracting. I found the shower pressure to be disappointingly low. Despite these minor inconveniences, the beautiful garden views and abundance of local wildlife created a good atmosphere. I would definitely return for the hospitality and charming setting.

Couldn't recommend more for a short break

Good hosts, good breakfast. We were actually surprised by the charming hospitality and delicious breakfast options, particularly the haggis that was cooked to perfection, and the convenient location offered fine mountain views and easy access to walking trails.

    Everything was exactly right.

    charming atmosphere
    adorable pets
    fine breakfast
    shower pressure

Charming atmosphere with adorable pets around and a gorgeous garden to relax in. The breakfast spread was huge and catered even to special diets. Just a short stroll to local dining options in a serene spot near the loch.

The shower could use a bit more pressure for a proper rinse.
